Concentrating solutions for an anisotropic elliptic problem with large exponent

چکیده
We consider the following anisotropic boundary value problem ∇(a(x)∇u) + a(x)u = 0, u > 0 in Ω, u = 0 on ∂Ω, where Ω ⊂ R2 is a bounded smooth domain, p is a large exponent and a(x) is a positive smooth function. We investigate the effect of anisotropic coefficient a(x) on the existence of concentrating solutions. We show that at a given strict local maximum point of a(x), there exist arbitrarily many concentrating solutions.

The Solvability of Concave-Convex Quasilinear Elliptic Systems Involving $p$-Laplacian and Critical Sobolev Exponent
In this work, we study the existence of non-trivial multiple solutions for a class of quasilinear elliptic systems equipped with concave-convex nonlinearities and critical growth terms in bounded domains. By using the variational method, especially Nehari manifold and Palais-Smale condition, we prove the existence and multiplicity results of positive solutions.

The aim of this paper is to obtain three weak solutions for the Dirichlet quasilinear elliptic systems on a bonded domain. Our technical approach is based on the general three critical points theorem obtained by Ricceri.

متن کاملA VARIATIONAL APPROACH TO THE EXISTENCE OF INFINITELY MANY SOLUTIONS FOR DIFFERENCE EQUATIONS
The existence of infinitely many solutions for an anisotropic discrete non-linear problem with variable exponent according to p(k)–Laplacian operator with Dirichlet boundary value condition, under appropriate behaviors of the non-linear term, is investigated. The technical approach is based on a local minimum theorem for differentiable functionals due to Ricceri. We point out a theorem as a spe...
متن کاملA multiplicity result for an elliptic anisotropic differential inclusion involving variable exponents
In this paper we are concerned with the study of a class of quasilinear elliptic differential inclusions involving the anisotropic − →p (·)-Laplace operator, on a bounded open subset of Rn which has a smooth boundary. The abstract framework required to study this kind of differential inclusions lies at the interface of three important branches in analysis: nonsmooth analysis, the variable expon...
